WOMEN IN BIKE RACING
A Cyclist's Present, UK, 2025
This game, part of the A Cyclist's Present series of cycling-related card games, is quite special since it only features questions about women's cycling. As you may have remarked, there are not that many cycling games that feature women. That is why I am going to start a section about such games quite soon (watch for the next update of this site), and that is why this game is important and absolutely recommended for those of you who have cycling girlfriends, (grand?)daughters, or (grand?)mothers.
The game consists of 52 cards with three questions each (and answers on the back side) making 156 questions and answers.
Some of the questions are for real experts (but do they really change the Cauberg gradient for the women's race?)
The ACP collection of cycling games features, at the time of writing, at least three other quiz games, a "tall tale game", four flashcard games (not yet reviewed on this site), and a top trumps game. Since, as every regular reader of this site already knows, I am not particularly fond of quiz games, if I were to choose a game in the ACP series, it would rather be the latter, but of course this is just my personal preference.
