BISIKLE
Emmanuel Arnould, France, 2009
This one is not a board game but an action game (Carabande style). It imitates the beach game very common in France (and also in Italy). As I am preparing an article on action games (with marbles, crown caps, figurines) that represent cycling races, I will elaborate on this one some other day.
However, I must say that Emmanuel Arnould has made a nice work in designing the track and ball to get the effect of a ball rolling on sand. Ok, you do not get the exact impression that the ball is rolling on sand (as a friend of mine said, the ball slides most of the time instead of rolling) but the game is still playable, and quite enjoyable.
A nice game for all those who do not have a beach nearby.
Contents of the box. By the way, you can buy extra tracks, barriers, riders, ball...
Nice modern-looking riders.
Rider and "Z-Ball".
