Late For The Sky, Usa, 2008?

 

 

I always say that Maillot Arc-EnCiel is a cycling Monopoly, and that it's working title was, in fact, "Cyclopoly". You can check the first drafts in the "Making Cycling Games" section if you don't believe me. But Maillot Arc-En-Ciel is a game related to bicycle racing, of course. It was a matter of time that someone produced a true cycling monopoly.

In the FAQ section of this site I put the limits of my collection in "games that represent or refer to bicycle races" (as opposed to "games that appeal to bicycle lovers").

So, If I wanted to be coherent I should not feature this one in my collection.

 

 

Late For The Sky  began with a game called Miamopoly in 1984. I guess the game sold well enough to continue. since they are making Monopoly clones of whatever theme you can imagine (you can check their website here)

 

 

The materials of the game are better than you would expect, specially the six different metal charms used as counters
